Does the Graco (or other brand) make that much difference in felt recoil? I'm thinking of installing one on my 378 Weatherby so that I could shoot without using the muzzle brake. With the muzzle brake it's a pussy cat, but without, not so nice.

From a blind I can easily use hearing protection, but I am concerned about situations where I might want to do some stalking. There I want want to shed the hearing protection (and the brake).

Is Graco a mercury tube? I have found that mercury tubes really take the bite out of recoil and eliminate its sharpness.

Graco makes both a mercury tube and spring loaded or gas compression system.

I have two DeadMule mercury tubes in the stock of my M-70 .470 Capstick. The gun is pretty light, so the added mass is helpful.

Back to top....Aren't there any 50BMG shooters out there who use the Graco, or some other similar device?
