I have a .416 Rigby and I am very happy with it, with the exception of the trigger. When looking at the trigger assembly it just seems to me that there are an awful lot of small springs, pins etc just waiting to come loose, break or something else. I have been unable to find a source for aftermarket triggers. Is there such a beast? Or does CZ offer something other than this single set trigger? Thanks in advance!

Call Ed Plummer at AHR. He has a better trigger. You are right the CZ trigger assembly is very complicated with lots of parts to lose or break. -Rob Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers to do incredibly stupid things- AH (1941)- Harry Reid (aka Smeagle) 2012 Nothing Up my sleeves but never without a plan and never ever without a surprise!

This is very good news. Question to Robgunbuilder: what is AHR? I'm a new member here so, I'm not familiar with some of the jargon on this forum. I am getting a CZ 550 American Safari in 375 H&H. Thanks

Given the lightening speed that "bad news" about a given product travels (e.g. CZ 550 "c-clip" firing pin locks), has there been increased reports of trigger failures on CZ DGR's coming out of Africa (or elsewhere)?
