I have been using the .376 Steyr to good effect, it is a 9.5X60 in metric terms. The cartridge design used 9.3X64 brass shortened and necked up. It is a modern 9.3X62, and uses all those great .375" bullets.

I'm sure that the .376 Steyr is an effective cartridge but I fear for it's staying power. Better, IMO, to go with the 9.3x64 as I personally think it will still be around long after the Steyr has become a item for cartridge collectors.
