I need some emergency help!!! I am not exactly sure how it happened - but I have lost the front sight to my CZ 550 Safari 458 Win Mag. (actually I think it was lost when a guy at the range was checking out how the front sight was set up a couple weeks ago) The problem is that next friday my platoon is sneaking away from the unit for an afternoon at a public range for some fun shooting. My plans were to take my 458 WM and let the guys shoot it a bit. Not exactly possible without the front sight. I know I can order one from CZ but they cant get it here in time.

If anyone has a spare front sight I would love to purchase it from you. I would need it shipped Priority and ASAP so it can get here in time. Please let me know if anyone has one they can sell and mail quickly.

I've got several CZ front sight inserts....But we need to know the number (size/heights are numbered) CZ can tell us I'm sure. I don't have a 458 CZ here to check.
Anyone out there ????

I found that sometimes I had to kindof play with the plunger some to get to come all the way back up .... I think maybe when the sight is soldered on it may affect the spring .. I don,t know tho ... I have one thats spare , but it,s a long way away from me right now ..

Thanks for bailing me out. This platoon range trip will be the first time several of my guys have fired anything other than a M16. I think it will be a lot of fun for them to be able to shoot the 458.

This sort of post makes me want to buy a CZ just so I can send it to AHR.
