It is like Will said and very correctly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Taylor, I love the rifle and cartridge. The Ruger however is a bit more accurate at least in my rifle and I just do not seem to have the time to sort out why. I think the Ruger cartridge feeds a bit better. They both are 3 and 1 so the capacity is the same. It is one of those things you have difficulty in deciding which way to go. I do not like carrying three rifles, it is a pain no matter how one gets there, up front or in the back. I have shot springbuck with the Ruger, one shot at 280 meters with the Barnes TSX 400gr, a buffalo at 200 meters 1 shot, 20 yards and down with the same TSX. I may be over gunned for the smaller animals but the rifle is deadly accurate and the Nightforce Scope is fantastic. As our 30th President said something to the effect, if it is not broke don't fix it. Has anyone else had great success with loading IMR 4320 in their Taylor or Ruger with Barnes Bullets?
