I got it on Tuesday,It looks good. I have been grinding fiber Glass for two days and hope to drop it into the stock and glass bedding today. Its a big action and is a very tight fit in the mpi 550 mag stock. I will have to shorten the mag box to make it fit. I had it inletted for the granite mountain the CZ 550 mag would have been better, the bottom metal is close. he CZ action is smaller but a closer layout than the granite mountain. Neither inletting would work in wood, with fiberglass i can build up where I need to. I have lots of work to do to get it ready for the shoot and hoot.

That's excellent news! As George said - pictures, please.

I sent an email to Jeff last night asking for an update on my stainless steel PH action. Hopefully your recent receipt bodes well for mine soon.

I post some photos later next week.

She's all taped up from bedding, I have one touch up pass for the action and the first pass on bedding of the bottom metal,it took a pound of devcon steal to do the action and mag well and 1/2 of the barrel channel. I have a fair amount of blending and fairing to do. I am hoping to have most of that done by Monday.

Mines in chrome Molly stainless is to follow.

Its worth the wait its a lot of action for 650 bucks. You can see that its a cast action below the stock line . It could be ground or polished out if it bugged, it seems to feed just fine and it only need a little lapping to smooth things up or some use what ever comes first.Quality wise its just like the 1999 action or the Ruger's I looked at.

Thanks JD. Hoping to hear from Jeff about timeframe. I know the CM is coming off the blocks first but still hoping I will see my SS version this year.
