A sad thing to relate... Login/Join

Like a lot of you, I have the full collection of Handloader Magazines...in binders thru 2005. My wife will get me a "stocking stuffer" one year of a two year subscription, and a binder the next. Easy, no-brainer Christmas gift.

Last year I got a Taurus 480 from her instead, a very nice upgrade. But my subscription expired...and no binder to put 2006 in. I called Monday and ordered a new 2year subscription, and a binder.

Sticker Shock!!!! A 2 year sub is just $36, but the binders like to have caused coronary arrest! Wolfe Publishing is committed to "Buy American", and there is now exactly ONE company making them left here in this country. Soooooooooo, they jacked the price up to Wolfe, and cost is now $12.50 apiece. That's nearly twice what it was four years ago. It's not the $$$, it just seems sad that there is only one American manufacturer left and they are struggling to stay in business.
I bought four, so I am now good thru December of 2013.

Sad thing............

This is as we all know very common. I will praise Wolf publishing for buying American. I try to buy American everychance I get, and I will spend the extra money it takes to buy it.

I know there are alot of good arguments for buying the goods at the cheapest possible price, but if our boys aren't making it, some commie m*****f***** in China is going to.

America can't run on a purely service economy.
