Been getting some complaints from Africa on the latest batches of 416 Rem factory loaded ammo not being up to snuff.

Apparently the factorys are up to there old tricks again, soon as the ammo is established and accepted, they load it down cuz the bean counter lawyers get involved and create monsters....

The stuff is chronographing about 2100 FPS, according to Man Magnum magazine latest issue..Has anyone ran any new stuff over the box lately??

I have no problem with a 400 gr. bullet at 2100 FPS, but thats not the point, they are cheating again and if so, I don't approve of that.

So, what do we call this new round, a reincarnated 405 Winchester? I think the 405 was the one that brought Cottar to his downfall with a rhino. Where is Jack Lott when we need him? Looking down and grinning, perhaps.
