Would anyone have information on the .600Rothschild super express? First what action did he used?Next is he still making these super express rounds?

I was wondering about that myself. I think Roger's 600 will be a good candidate for the PH magnum action. Horneber should be a good source for brass. Thanks.

Big Al, Called my 'smith today, he has chambered and fitted the barrel to the receiver (p-14), and is waiting for the mag box to be TIG'ed together, then he will begin the machining on the receiver. We wait on his small parts man. He got pneumonia elk hunting and was in the hospital for three weeks. Almost didn't make it. All the parts are at the 'smiths. He will machine and TIG in the box, finish prettying up the floorplate, install front banded ramp, barrel swivel and extra lug. Then it goes out to Roger Kehr for some simple, tasteful stippling of the front ramp, receiver ring and engraving the barrel. Then it'll be blued and back to me. I get the fun of fitting the stock to it. That is where I am right now. And know that I wish the thing was going quicker than it is. Reamers available from Dave Kiff at PPG, cases from Bridger Bullets (no headstamp) or Rocky Mountain Cartridge Co.(headstamp engraved on base) and dies from CH4-D.
