It's funny isn't it I ordered my cz 9.3x62 at Christmas, and it's still not here. Ordered my .458 cz win mag on Tuesday and it arrived Thursday Payed for it and took it away, looked over it tonight and it seems much lighter than my .375 CZ and My .416 CZ (Same barrel Blank with bigger hole ??) Any way it points and feels magic as all cz's to me do and it is the nicest looking timber on any of my cz's to date. It will not even be fired as a .458 winnie, I am just awaiting my Graf dies and brass make up some dummy rounds and it's off to the smith for re-chambering. I am going to double cross bolt it, bed it in Devcon, possibly add a barrel band. It has a small pit in the bolt face which I will have ground (I am a perfectionist and it just annoys me...anyone know the feeling ) Shortening to 22" is not of pressing urgency I am leaning towards leaving it as 25" It feels light enough now. I will also have the feeding polished up so it is as slick as goose snot. Anything else I should consider having done ?? Stock will not be replaced as I like the hogs back and I particularly adore the slim feel of the schnabel forearm, it makes it feel "lively" and point well and when I shut my eyes and shoulder it the sights are right there [ 08-07-2003, 16:27: Message edited by: PC ]

Hey nice one mate, now you'll have to find something bigger than a roo to try it out on. Some of those stripless zebra's we have up here in the Territory would be just the thing Bakes
