What big bore have most power?

The cartridge of most power is the .700 NE.If you have seen comparisons with other cases that you've mentioned(as you probably has) then you'll see that the .700 NE undoubtely is the biggest and meanest around,,,PERIOD. 1000 gr.at 2450 fps,,go figure !!

Yeah 2450 f/s with a 23 1/2 inch barrel. But what velocity do you think is possible with a 26" or 28" barrel...??? maybe 2550-2600 f/s.

Overkill,,the velocity would be much higher, but you'd had big problems holding the thing, and Ulrik has not received any bullets yet,,since this will take very much time,,almost 6 months,,so the system down there is really ##&&#�up.

what about the 4 bore. It shoots 1850 grs. bullet in about 1400-1500 f\s. I think that hit hard too.

For me .577 T-Rex

The 4-bore will only have 12400 joule if the velocity is 1500 f/s. A .700 Nitro Express is cool. 2440 f/s with a only a 23" barrel. If the barrel is 26" or 28" then the velocity can be around 2600 f/s with a 1000 grain bullet. The energy will be around 20 000 joule like 2 times 4-bore.
