Hi Guys,

What is the bullet diameter for 500 NE, Barnes has .509 and A-SQUARE and Woodleigh Bullets are .510 ?

Or is it both ?

.510" is the proper bullet diameter.

12.95 mm = 0.50984"
is the proper spec by CIP that all adhere to nowadays for the 500 NE 3".

Barnes makes theirs .509" as a fudge. Most all of their bullets are about .001" or more undersize.

barnes does .509 for pressure.

the bore is .500, the groove is .510
