Just letting you guys know there is a Cogswell & Harrison 375 at the Kansas City Cabelas.

I didn't go up there to die, I went up there to live.

Now that's the way an African medium should look!

I have inspected this rifle (we took the barreled action out of the stock, etc.).

Barrel is marked H&H NY NY so it must have been sold out of the H&H store at one time.

Interesting. If you're going to have a rifle rebarreled, I guess there would be worse choices than H&H? :-)

Some, but only a few. However grand H&H's double guns and double rifles are, the record of their bolt action rifles is less than stellar. Believe me, if I had a fine British bolt gun that needed a new barrel, I certainly wouldn't send it to H&H. Paul Roberts would be a far better choice.

Just to be clear the barrel is stamped Cogswell & Harrison on the top. The H&H NY NY is on the side; this part can actually be seen in one of the Cabela's photos.

H&H, NY is stamped there because by law the importers name has to be stamped on the rifle.
