Should have posted this earlier (but hey, the show is open tomorrow too Roll Eyes) but Bitterroot/Wayne Jacobson of AHR has a PH action at his booth at DSC. My understanding it that it is Rich/ISS's.

Gives you a chance to compare to the Granite Mountain as he has one of those too.

Hope somebody can get some pictures. Would be nice to see the "PH" beside the "GMA" at the DSC.

It would be nice to just get one, period. I am hoping the wait is soon over.

looked pretty good, eh?

It will be worth the wait, the firing pin issue is all that is left. I think a call or visit with MRC might get an action out to Wayne since he made the firing pin for mine.

The action was provided for fitting into the stock. It is still missing the firing pin.

Wayne had a barreled PH action at the DSC alongside a barreled GMA action. Nice display...along with my AHR 700, of course!!!

There were obvious differences in the quality of finish between the 2 actions, but with the huge price difference, it requires some personal assessment of "value".

Wayne had a great booth at DSC, and seemed to be getting a lot of interest from the crowd. If you're planning on AHR to build or modify something for you, better get your order in quickly!!

Biebs, I looked at it too when Wayne was here. I thought with a little work, it would be a great action. I would be interested in Wayne's advice as to whether to use the CZ action or the MRC for the .600 OK.
