American Reloading has Barnes TSX .375 300 grainers at $37.49 per 100 after their 25% promo code, SHIPPED! This site normally sells pulled bullets but these ones are new! I picked up a bunch for "plinking" at just over .37 cents a bullet. They also have some .458 bullets in stock but are pulled and don't seem to be the ultimate deal. https://americanreloading.com/en/314-375-h-h -John

The photos of the bullets look they're Blems or something and I don't see where it says "TSX" although they look like them. I ordered two boxes anyway, you can't have to many 375 bullets. When you place the order, at least for me, the promo code shows up under the "Vouchers" text box. 25off375 It is nice of the site to let the buyer know of a possible discount.

I got mine today, 203 of them, they gave me 3 extra. I weighed them and they are right on 300 grains and they are definitely TSXs, I have a bunch here I bought from Midway and compared them, these come in a bag instead of a plastic box. If they are blems I can't tell it by looking at them or weighing them. Just placed an order for 200 more for a lifetime supply.

I ordered mine last Friday but my order status still says "Funds Received" with no shipping information. Got mine at some point Mon-Wed of this week after placing the order the day I first made this thread. I was out of town for business and they were waiting for me upon my return. I opened them up and counted/inspected what I had which was 406 TSX's and two traditional cup and core .375 bullets of what I'm guessing were 235 grainers mixed in. The TSX bullets definitely have very faint marks from being loaded but are in otherwise perfect shape. All in all, I figure I've got a near-lifetime supply of whitetail and/or varmint plinking bullets if nothing else! -John

A great bullet in a "modified .375" are a larger case like a 375 Wby or Rum for instance but IMO its encroaches powder capacity of a std. 375 and velocity is hampered.. Just my two bits based on expansion in dry magazines and handloads..Same with the 300 gr. Accubonds, but they expand better at lower velocity it seems. However I have only seen two recovered from the Accubonds and one from the Barnes, on live animals, neither of which was impressive, nor a conclusive test of bullet integrity.. I received mine today in the mail but their website doesn't say that it shipped. I have no issues making 2500 fps with the 300 grain TSX in my 375 H&H. EDIT: My bag had 202 bullets in it. I just checked and in .375 caliber Barnes bullets, I have enough hunting bullets to last me for awhile. 276 - 300 grain TSX FB 150 - 250 grain TTSX 112 - 235 grain TSX 32 - 300 grain Banded Solid FP I also have a bunch of practice bullets. 600+ - Hornady 270 grain SP 400+ - Assorted 260-300 grain Partitions, Hornady FMJ & SPs, etc. Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. Ray, What velocity can one expect with a 300gr TSX at moderate pressure with a .375 Wby in a 24" barrel? I had a .375 Wby in a Mauser action with a 26" barrel and got 2,800 which is quite an improvement over the original. Wondering if it is worth punching out my current rifle which has a 24" barrel.

I suspect you could get an easy 2800 FPS, just have to start at 2700 and work up, might get more..A std. 375 will get you 2500 FPS with a max charge in the powder I used, but a Nosler 300 for instance will get you 2600 plus as it doesn't encroach on case capacity..Some feel a 100 FPS is nothing and its not squat in a 270 for instance, but its enough to count in the big bores...All that said any 300 gr bullet in a 375 of any kind with a 300 gr. bullet is a killing machine, and in many cases better than the same bullet at 2600 to 2800 FPS on the larger animals like buffalo..
