Dave Davison of CH-4D is poised to offer die-sets in .505 Gibbs by months end and has extended a courtesy discount to "AR" members. It may pay for those contemplating either the building or purchase of a rifle so chambered in the near future to get your die-set, early on. The courtesy discount will hold until January 1, 2005, when there may be a general price increase. Mention your AR membership to Dave and give him your adapter bushing t.p.i. and size, as needed. I recently purchased a .505 die-set from Dave, along with an adapter bushing with a nice knurled shoulder (1.25) and Im well pleased with all. BTW, Dave's kudu went 59.5"!

I bought Pierre van Tonder a set of those C&H dies and a couple of hundred Bridger Flat nose solids and 100 cases of Horneber brass last year..He likes the dies and the other stuff also...The cost about half as much as RCBS dies... Some one posted that Redding would make big bore dies for about the same as standard dies, that would be worth looking into but sounds a little far fetched to me..but worth a check...
