It's on an original Mauser Commercial prewar action that had never been barreled,Bolt handle has been replaced with a turned down Mauser style straight bolt. New medium weight barrel with ERA pedastal rear and Flourescent front on ERA ramp. Stock is a McMillian Fiberglass. Wisner dropped bottom metal. In other words a brand new Mauser 404J. Very nice working gun package. Blued with Pachmayr Decellerator if memory serves. Don't remember the price but was in the $2000 range. Just thought I would post as I've seen very few NEW Mauser actions today.

I was in Murphy's today and he still has the Banner Mauser actioned 404 Jeffery on the rack. At $1999 I can't see how it's been there this long. Don't know where you would buy this much DGR for this little money. Have you even SEEN a new unbarreled Banner Standard Model action in years much less with all these goodies. All it needs is a Timney trigger to be a perfect working rifle.
