lb404,
I resent the PM. I was interested in that "dusty" old set of dies if they are "available" :)

I am sorry about the delay, I destroyed my shoulder last week and hsd to have tests and surgery on Friday. I am feeling a bit punk just now, but, if I can get my wife to pack them up, I will send them to you to use until you can find another set. I like keeping them around for others to use.

Leonard,
don't worry if you can't shoot that new 450/400 3inch by the time it's ready, we fellow members of the DRSS will be glad to shoot it for you! Eeker animal

Yeh, like I told him if he didn't buy that rifle, or if he even laid it down, I would have bought it in a heart beat! In that vane, it would tickel me to get to shoot it before he did! animal

Just kidding, lb404, get well, we got some shooting to do, as soon as Rusty gets that Buffalo hunt info! clap

if my shoulder isn't up to it, Susan may get first shot on the double. The bad thing is that I will be getting my 500 Jeffery next week and I won't be able to shoot it for sevral months if ever!!!!

Hey lb404 if Rusty gets that buffalo hunt set up before your shoulder is 100 %, I have a little S/S 9.3X74R double you can use, if you want, for the hunt. It still has some recoil, but not like your 450/400NE 3", or that 500 Jeff for sure. Just let me know, and I'll get some Woodlieghs loaded up for it! beer

Thanks for the offer. Right now I am going crazy as I can't use my right arm at all for 4-6 weeks. I would have loved this time off to catch up on shooting, loading, fishing and just about anything. Sitting at home left hand pecking at a keyboard is the s*its!

I'd be supprised if you couldn't manage say, reloading. You'd probably supprise yourself.

My old man left one arm in Syria about '41 , and used to shoot, fish, build houses on his own etc. I't was a sight to see him climb a step ladder with about a 6'x4' sheet of ceiling
on his head and nail it in place with hammer and tacks. He didn't shoot big bores, but I'm sure he could have.

I am sure I could manage to do many things. My ortho surgeon said he sees 400 shoulders a month and it has been at least 6-10 years since seeing one nearly as bad as mine as mine. He said I have one chance to heal up right and I need to not risk wrecking the repair at this point as I have one opportunity to do it right or I might as well amputate it now. No motion of my right arm at all for 4-6 weeks. I know it sounds radical but shit happens and I am just along for the ride!

I tore a rotator cuff and believe me you want to follow your Dr's instructions very closely. It is very easy to reinjure your shoulder.
