Who makes 450 #2 NE dies and which ones are best. I am having my gun chambered in February and wanted to have all my brass and dies ready to go. Thanks, Ghost

My Huntington 450 No2 dies work perfectly. I use Bertram Brass, and I have not had any problems with it. Some of my cases have been loaded around 20 times. I did not think they would last that long so did not keep an accurate count. I have one lot of 20 that I am keping count on, so far 7 times and they still look new. Be sure and get the File Trim Die. After resizing keep the cases lubed up until after you have trimmed them in the File Trim Die. Also get the big chamfer tool, it is easier to use. My British rifle shoots the 480 and 500 grain bullets best with 88 gr. of RL-15. YOU MUST USE FILLER, either poly [pillow stuffing], or a foam plug I cut out with a 50 BMG case. The filler MUST BE COMPRESSED between the bullet and powder. Too much compression [if that is possible] is better than not enough. With the 350gr Hornady RN I use 81 grains of IMR 3031. Federal 215 primers for all loads. The 480/500 loads and the 350 gr loads hit the same place to 100 yards [tested on paper] and to 200 yards near as I can tell [tested on my 200 yard rock]. Hope this helps.

if you are willing to wait, call dave on special order your necks... richard had the same problem with RCBS on 577 nitro 3"... seems that BELL brass is SIGNIFCANTLY different from Bertram (and bell is no longer available) and had to have "special" dies made for the THINNER brass, as the bullets jsut fell in also.... worked PERFECTLY on bell bras (had a couple) though jeffe
