Dang, RIP, you and I often have the same brain waves, LOL. I need to drive up to KY and hang out with ya!!! I DO WISH that the box was longer however---the only peeve I have. I was wanting a 375 SnipeTac or .416 SnipeTac that looks like a bigger Ruger RSM in styling (I have a RSM in .416 Rigby). I like those long pointy boolets sometimes too! Course I HAD a CZ in .416 Rigby too......it's a .338 Allen Xpress now, with a an extra Tubb recoil lug for extra bedding strength.[/url]

NPD's stock is from Chris at www.walnutgrovegunstocks.com. He is about 45 minutes NW of NPD and I.

Hi woodsracer, Great minds think alike. Are you maybe thinking of a "sporting weight" .408 Cheyenne Tactical or .416 Kraken Tactical on a PH action? And speaking of stocks as per IS's comment on npd345's stock: Somewhat related ... Until we get a good synthetic stock for the PH, it will be hard to beat the Boyd's walnut that MRC will ship to you after a telephone call to order: This PH stock arrived from MRC. It weighs 2-pounds-10-ounces. Surprisingly slim, graceful, light for the huge action it fits. The grain through the grip ain't half bad. In fact, it is better than half good. With such a slender grip, a steel rod in the grip WOOD BE A GOOD IDEA!!! Aluminum pillars, full glass bedding ... I'll try not to let it get too heavy.

If Boyd's could only make an identical stock in a brown laminate, with a black tip. Oh-La-La!!!

Exactly! I was very interested when I first read about the .416 PGW, which is essentially the same case.
