From actual shots I have fired, that hit elephants "in the head", a good solid of .366 .408 or .458 dia. with a SD od @.300, and a velocity or 2100 to 2200fps will give you plenty of penetrtion.

They work good on buff as well.

That velocity also gives plenty of penetration with Woodleigh, Swift and Nosler softs as well.

I would add that they also have good stopping power for caliber and both FN mono-metal as well as steel jacketed solids penetrate straight and true.

Anyone ever notice how everything Art Alpin has ever created benefits A Square's proprietary stuff while at the same time diminishing the existing competition. This would include the load data in "Any Shot You Want". The PI calculations fit this trend with a frighteningly high level of correlation. Everything A Square should be taken with a large grain of salt, IMHO.
