This maybe should be posted in Reloading, but I'm posting here first. I just received my care package from NF Mke and it contains his 300 gr FP solids. He had told me via a telephone conversation that some folks had feeding trouble with these bullets. Please enlighten me. I have a Ruger Magnum that seems to digest everything well...including the flat pointed Sledgehammers. Before I load up a bunch, just wanted to see what issues I may be facing.
Thanks.

Start a little long and decrease seating depth until they feed well and do not strike the lands. With a factory rifle like the Ruger you will probably have no trouble. I have had no trouble with NF FN solids feeding in factory model 70's (pre and post 64), custom Mausers, and Blasers. But I have some other rifles that will not digest flat noses. This seems to be more a problem with custom guns made by backyard gunsmiths than with factory rifles.

Thanks, 500. I was going to polish the feed ramp if I had problems....but was not sure if it was a common ailment. I'll use your method...thanks.
