I just looked over single shot .375 Ruger by Strum and Ruger. It has parkerized or blasted finish on metal parts, nice wood, 22" barrel and one standing back sight. Unlike most 'Tropicals' in African calibers it wasn't a "crowbar". The weight was < 8lbs.
PS. If that .300H&H they're going to make has correct barrel length and nice iron sights like this one I'm going to take the "plunge".
