Gary,

I have an old manual (thanks to Ray Atkinson) that has loads for the Barnes X. They should be a little low for the TSX.

H4895 74.0 2505 80.0 2722
BL-C(2) 79.0 2469 85.0 2633
IMR 3031 71.0 2426 77.0 2610

IMR 4064 73.0 2456 79.0 2629
RL15 78.0 2498 84.0 2694
AA2520 76.0 2462 80.0 2675

Best I can do. Obviously, one should follow all good reloading practices.

BTW I have taken Gemsbock, Hartebeast, Cape Buffalo, and Bison with the Barnes X 350 at 2700 fps. Very, very effective on game and accurate in my CZ 550.

HTH,

Mike

I used 82 grains RL-15 in my 416 RemMag with 350 grain TSX two months ago in Namibia. This load gives 2550 fps in my rifle. Extremely effective on everything from Springbok to Zebra. Ranges were 50 yards to 275 yards.

Reload 15 powder in the 416 rem mwill handle all the bullet weights from 300 gr to 410 gr.I find my most accurate loads are with this powder and federal 215 mag primers.I wish Branes had not qiuit making the 325 gr .416 bullets.I pushed them to 2800 fps with my 416 rem mag and a 24" barrel. They are awesome bullets.I wish i had about 5 more boxes of them.Reload 15 works very good ftor the 350 gr also.I get 2600 fps with the speer 350 gr mag tip bullets which are also a very good bullet for the money.

Thanks guys, Reloader-15 is my normal powder for the 400Nosler, but, I've always found it temp sensitive. My good cold weather load is too hot during summer months and the good hot weather load is too slow in the cold.

I'm going to start playing around w/ the 350TSX to make a broad brush load to use year round. I was going to try a different powder and was interested in finding out what Barnes recommends.
