I realize from watching Saeed's videos that not everyone that shoots the big guns is a big guy, but recoil is definently an issue with these guns and I know part of handling that has to do with a person's physical size.

Don't assume that is the case. Other than proper gun fit, it's a head trip and physical fitness issue, not a body size issue. By physical fitness I don't mean you have to be toned all the time (thank god), just reasonably active and confident.

I would suggest that felt recoil may actually be less for someone average sized than for a heavier person. Only because it would seem that a lighter person would roll more with the recoil and not soak up as much into the body.
