Rob please bring me up to speed on this chamber neck reaming. Your reaming it from what to .614? The chambering reamers neck is too tight? I called clymer & since the 585 is a custom job ($180.00) they will cut the reamer to demensions I request at no extra charge. I might as well get the neck cut correctly on the reamer itself & not have to re-ream the chamber neck seperately later. Same for throating. How much throat do you recomend? ------------------

BearCLAW- I suggest that the neck dimension on the 585 NYATI be changed from .609 at the neck/shoulder junction to .614 and from .608 at the neck mouth to .613. I'd leave the throat alone at .215. This gives you plenty of room and the Bertram brass works fine. Frankly, I just Borrowed 500 Grains neck reamer and went straight at .614. However, if your having a reamer made, then it makes sense to get the .001 taper put in. It may improve extraction a little, although I have no problems.-Rob
