Low power scope for a Montana Long action? Login/Join

I am looking for a low power variable to put on a .375 H&H built on a Montana 99 Long action. The Leupold 1-4, 1.5-6, etc all end up with the front of the tube barely making it to the front ring for me. I am not a fan of extended bases and would like to know if anyone knows of a scope that is in the 1.5-6 range with a longer tube that is not $1000. I know that Swarovski makes one, but I can't afford it.

Thanks

Shooting, what else is there?
