Whilst down Lithgow way, I went to see my gunsmith and nutted out the new rifle. The action work has been started, I picked out a piece of wood, nothing fancy or expensive, just a nice bit of straight grained walnut. Ebony forend, Buff horn grip cap (water not cape). New bolt handle and trigger, express sights (1 fixed-2 folded)wrap around chequering, barrel band....Now I've just got to sell a kidney to pay for it!

sounds fun. What action are you useing for this one. I think the 416 rigby is really sweet, I will have one my self soon.
