I was thinking of building a 404, but saw a R B Rodda for sale that looks very nice. Can anyone give an educatlon on this maker? Quality looks good, nothing fancy and shows very little use. What about price range?

A Rhodda is a good double and the generally bring less than the others, so they are a very good deal and in demand..They seem to bring $6500 to $7500 in most places with a few going for $5500...

I would say in excellent shape I would pay $6500. to $7500 for one as you describe and never look back...It will only increase in value every year...

It is an excellent hunting rifle....

I did not give enough information. This is a bolt action, not sure if magnum or opened up 98. Rifle is marked 404 Express, which I think is the same as 404 Jeffery. 1 standing and 1 folding leaf sights, old recoil pad that looks orginal, no scope.
