Houstonians, Have any of you used anyone locally to do a complete stock bedding job? This is normally something I would have Tip do but the rifle is here and Tip is there. The rifle is a Whitworth .458 and I would like to have it completely bedded and have a second cross bolt installed. I want to find someone that can do a top notch professional job like Tip would do. Thanks for your help. Mike

Too many Houston shooters out there for no one to have a lead on someone. Mike

I don't know who Tip is so can't comment about him. I've used Bobby for several guns. He use to work for Briley's. He's not the cheapest or quickest but does darn fine work: Pitchford Custom Gunworks, LLC 28703 Margerstadt Road Waller, Texas 77484 (north on 290 1/2 way to Hempstead) 936-372-9017 hm 939-3729027 fax Pete A.

When Bobby was with Briley he built my 375 H&H and did a great job. ____________________________________________ "Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." Terry Pratchett.

You might try Bill Wiseman & Co, on Highway 6 just south of College Station. 979 690 3456 I have not had them do stock work, had them re barrel an old mdl 70 action, looked at other stuff they were doing and what I have seen looked very good. SIC TRANSIT GLORIA MUNDI
