Just wanting to know which is the "virtually indestructible" leupold was it the 2x 20 or the 2.5 x 20 leupold.

My experience is with the 2.5 x 20 compact, and I found it indestructible.

Is the 2 x 20 a long eye relief (LER) scope for pistols?

On closer examination of the website I think it is. Not only will this scope be good on my .585 I reckon it would also suit my 45/70
