How did you like the bolt handle on yours? I finally found one of these rifles at a local gunshop over the weekend so I got to handle it in person. The bolt handle/knob seems so tiny and 'frail' compared to the rest of the rifle. It's definitely too small for correct proportions and fast use in my opinion. I found it hard to operate with the factory knob. Of course, that's not stopping me. I am going to go back and buy it anyway I knew I should not have picked it up.... I have been looking for one for a long time, and trying it out just sealed the deal.

I wasn't planning any mods for it either, but I may have to look into a larger, checkered bolt knob. I just wasn't real impressed with the factory one. I saw what you mean about the set trigger being hard to engage. I had to press like hell to get it set - definitely not the easy flick I was expecting. But then again, how often would I really use it? I'm guessing maybe 10% or less of my shots will be set trigger material. That part I'll leave alone. I really liked the feel and balance of the rifle overall. Like I said, handling it in person made up my mind. I'll have to get back over there before this CZ disappears out from under me like that nice little carbine did last month! I've had 2 and a half boxes of 375 H&H ammo here for several years, but no rifle! Gotta remedy that. maxman
