I have a .458 Lott that I would like to put some mercury tubes in to take a bit out of the bite of the recoil. My gunsmith says he can install up to three. Two in the butt stock and one in the foregrip to help with the balance. Have any of you used these, and was there a noticeable difference in felt recoil? I'm not found of muzzle breaks hence the possibilty of installing the mercury tubes.

I have two in mine, both in the buttstock, and they absolutely flat out work. Just make sure the balance is preserved or the rifle will be awkward to handle. Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.
