Rich,
Titanium plates and screws work very well in the neck.
Don't put it off if you need it.

Get well soon.

Rich, I hope none of that damage to your neck is from the 550 Gibbs. BOOM

Get well soon, buddy,

I feel for you, I had L4-L5-S1 fused last year, along with C5-C6 too. I'm just now starting to feel normal again. 6 screws in the back, plus a little metal in the neck.

The neck was not too bad, just hard to look up for awhile.

I had serious back and neck pains and solved the problem myself when I went back to doing what I was doing when I didn't have these pains.I went back to working long hours standing on my feet.Sometimes when the pain came it would send me to the floor like a deer shot out from under his feet.It would scare people standing nearby.
