Sorry I don't have much to contribute to this thread, but that's a oddball! Do you own one? "Molotov Cocktails don't leave fingerprints" -Dr. Ski

Don't bother, do a 9.3X64. That is a righteous little powerhouse. .340 wby move over!-Rob Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers to do incredibly stupid things- AH (1941)- Harry Reid (aka Smeagle) 2012 Nothing Up my sleeves but never without a plan and never ever without a surprise!

The 9,3x62 opened up to 9,5/.375 is the .375 Hawk/Scoville. It has a shorter neck than the .375 Whelen, and hold slightly more powder. A super cartridge for the people that are able to admit to them selves that they do not hunt outside 200 yards. Bent Fossdal Reiso 5685 Uggdal Norway

I have used a 9.5x62 (aka 375 Scovill) for seven years and get an honest 2400fps with 300 gr partitions which is the same velocity I get with my 375 H&H using Rem factory ammo. It is a great round if you like wildcats but the difference between it and the 9.3x62 are insignificant in the real world.
