Their website says they're shut down, and my emails have gone unanswered. A bit disappointing, they have a neat product. And while we're at it, what's the latest on the US Importer for GS Custom?

As I understand it, they are in the process of getting their BATF license so production is on hold while R&D moves ahead.

I don't see why they would need a license just to make bullets. Then again, it may be just a matter of convience for them to get test rifles and such without having to pay retail.

Well, if one of us were running the BATF then a license would not be needed for making bullets.

I have shot some Bridgers and they are very fine and accurate.

I had asked for some samples of their bigger bullets to show off in my store, but they never arrived, and I was also hoping to be able to show them off at the convention we're having in June, but I guess I'm SOL.

500grains - you are correct. We are waiting for a manufactures license from the BATFE but testing and development go on. We have finalized all of the solid designs that will be offered as standard items and are working on an expanding bullet line.
Urodoji- When I first started I never thought a license would be needed but it is. There are different levels of license as well, below 50 cal is one and above 50 cal is another. To turn an over 50 cal bullet requires a license to manufacturer destructive devices. Since the market I am after is DG a lot of my market is in the over 50 cal bracket. Believe me it was not a cost cutting delay. The license is legally required and the cost of the license is far greater that what I would have saved buying a few guns for testing.

I went over all of the emailed inquires for the past 3 months and each one was answered. If yours somehow was missed I apologize. The general email address is info@bridgerbullets.com or my address is john@bridgerbullets.com. Please try me again if you have any questions.

I didn't realize that turning bullets counted as manufacturing a DD if they were over .50 cal. Is it too late to get those samples to show off?

urodoji,

If Bridger cannot legally loan you some for your show, I can loan you some of mine. Please let me know.

Got a reply from Bridger, I should have some samples to show off. Will be alot of .50 shooters, and alot of the area sportsmen will be there as well. I'll also see about getting some pictures of them to post on some other websites.

Got my samples in today. The machine work is beautiful. These are definately going to enjoy some fondling at the convention this weekend. I'll post some pics later.
