Has anyone checked this rifle out? Seems like it would be just the ticket for bears, boars, or moose.

As far as I can determine they do not have a definite date to start distribution if you are talking about the IZHMP221 model imported by EAA. I am not even sure when they will have any number of rifles in the US. I have been on the waiting list with a distributor for a few months, but he has no idea as to when he will receive any.

I e-mailed EAA and their response was that importation is being held up by "Washington, D.C." and the earliest they expect to have them is the end of the year.

I called them 2 weeks ago.... they said
"hopefully before early 2004"

Has anyone tried the IZH 43 SxS 12ga & 45-70? Its got a 20" barrel and extractors/ejectors.
