What powder do you guys use in your 585 Nyati and 577 Tyrannosaur...?

And with what powder do you get the max velocity in 585 nyati and in the 577 t-rex...?

I use Norma 204 powder. So far that�s the only powder I have tested.

I use Re 15 and IMR 4350.

In my .577 Tyrannosaur I have tried N-204 and VihtaVuori N-550. Both give good velocities in the 2550-2600 f/s range but the best is the 550. 189 grs gives 2705-2715 f/s with a Barnes Monolithic solid, 750 grs.

- just tried a load with woodleigh SP 750 grs today: 189 grs VVN 550 powder gave 2703 f/s

Do you have any muzzle brake on it...?
And how is the recoil whit 750 grains bullets in 2700 f/s...?

Overkill !
1)- 6,2 kg
2)- No muzzle brake ( 3 mercury recoil reducers )
3)- VERY heavy
