For those with Ruger M77 Hawkeye African experience -- Is it possible to utilize the NECG Peep Sight with the factory rear sight in-place? Or, does the factory rear sight obstruct (is too high) to allow use of the NECG peep?

IT's too high have to remove the rear blade.

This was my feeling. Thanks for your follow-up.

I have replaced the rear sight on mine with a fold-down sight. This gives lots of room for a low-mounted scope. The disadvantage is that when using the open sights it is possible for it to catch on brush or something and be folded down without knowing when you need it.
