Ruger 77/44 - twist?
Big bore - yes, big game - no.
Ruger 77/44 is discontinued so data isnt available but Im looking for the twist in order to reload 300 gr bullets. Anybody?

No offense, and no disrespect, but this particular question would probably be better answered in the pistol shooting forum? generally we are discussing rifles in bigbores, with rifle cartridges, not these super handy pistol calibered rifles

I assumed you are shooting about a .84" long, 300 gr, about 1500fps, which would require a minimum of a 1:33 twist... I would assume the ruger is faster
