Anyone have any updated info on when Winchester (USRA) might actually start shipping the new Model 1895 reproductions in .405 Winchester? I've had one on order since January 2000. I read in one of the gun magazines that USRA was exhibiting them at their Shot Show booth this year and was promising shipment in April (2001). Still, the guns haven't shown up at my dealer. My dealer (Carter's Country in Houston) can't seem to get any information out of USRA either. (I know some of the people that work there so I know they're not giving me the run around.) If anyone has any info to share as to when USRA might actually ship these rifles, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, BOB

The last I heard was an August time frame, but just like the software companies, there may be delays.

Well, several more months have gone by and still nothing from Winchester (USRA). I believe Winchester was displaying the guns at the Shot Show in New Orleans in January of this year. see: http://www.gunblast.com/SHOT_2001_3.htm Has anyone heard anything further about when these rifles might actually ship? Thanks,
