I just wondered if the Weatherby Mark v could be made into a 505 ? yes i know its push feed ,i know a 500 A2 would be better ! Shakari has one in 500 Jeffery which is of course a shorter round[but has been made to work perfectly,even though a push feed ] and the 505 is a bit longer than the 460 W ,just curious Thanks just'' thinking'' out loud

not easily ..
the casehead is .635, rather than .590

round is fatter and longer than the 460 case .. and if you want 3+1, you have to buy a "thingie" to add one round . .

i don't think it would fit .. but with enough money, nearly anything can be done

its been asked a few times over the years here, might be on a search if you try. From memory one thread verdict was maybe-ish, but bad idea due to small amount of meat left on the bolt. Remember one post that 585 nyati could even work in the mkV, but not sure if that was for 416 rebated or full size rim version.
