Has anyone else noticed a big difference in recoil between the two -- it could be because I've been shooting the 300 gr. at the bench, and shot the 270s standing...

I did not notice much of a difference. The 270's were a little lighter from the bench, maybe...

Cheers,

I actually think I can tell a difference in the recoil between 270 and 300 grain loads. However, the 300 grainers were factory loads, and I have no idea the powder, quantity, et cet of the load. The rifle is a CZ550 Safari Magnum. I thought the 300 grainers were a much sharper whack.
