Anyone can shoot an animal???? Now, your an anti hunter to add to this whole senario... Have you ever been charged by a 1000 yard target, bet your wonderfull scores would go to hell in a handbasket if you were or have you been charged by an animal???? No, you just pick on a little piece of paper and brag.

I'd be a little carefull about refering to shooting animals in a condeming way on this board as we are all hunters and I doubt that the boys will take kindly to such silly, childish statments..It gives us all a look at the real corbin (troll) Shell....

Go away Corbin, we all shoot animals and don't appreciate trouble makers who speak against hunting, destroy guns and think shooting paper the only gunsport. Target, benchrest etc. is a legitamate gunsport and we don't put it down, therfore I think you owe the board and myself an apology for that remark....

I was at a lose to understand corbin's remarks until he gave the name of John Geiges. I looked up his name in the files this morning, this is what I found. John order a total of four actions. I will quote now a letter from him to me. His letter head is "Geiges Instruments, Inc"
Dear Butch, It was a pleasure meeting you in Reno and I an very impressed with your Double Rifles. As per part of our discussion, I have purchased 4 ea. of your V actions and have had some problems with 2 ea. for the most part I have satisfied the customers but, as explained I can not use the 2 actions that I bought for the inventory. Your graciousness and willingness to allow me to return them says alot. The very best in all present and future ventures. signed John J. Geiges Jr.
Now, This should show my willingness to take care of my customers. I still don't understand this assault. I did try to call corbin at 1:40 pst today, his wife said he was out. I will try again.

I take no firm position in this debate regarding the quality of any Searcy action as I was not, in any way, party to the incident. I think I can say, however, that Mr. Shell is not a troll. I believe him to be the very skilled gunsmith to whom I spoke a couple of years ago (thanks for the photos and Burris catalog Corbin). Further, anyone who can shoot as well as I believe he can certainly doesn't deserve to be called a troll.

We all have opinnions and how well he shoots means very little to me, it does not put him into a high place. Anyone who shoots at rifles and destroys them has an attitude problem I would think..

But his troll status is mine alone, and you certainly have a right to your opinion......

Well I for one would rather hunt M'bogo any day of the week. Target shooting is just that Target shooting. I don't know the people here other than from the posts on this board. I would not have a problem contracting with Butch for a rifle or Ray for a hunt. and I would do it on a hand shake. That other fool, gee's I was taught a long time ago, if you don't have anything nice to say about somebody, don't say anything.

Never said Corbin was right about Butch's work or couldn't use a lesson in subtlety or shouldn't revise his statements about hunting a bit . . . BUT a "troll" strikes me as someone who knows nothing about a topic and arrives on a board specifically to pretent he/she does and, therefore, make trouble. Having seen Corbin's work, I sincerely doubt he fits this definition.
