awtc, I have a super 14,Contender, so chambered. It started life as a 41 Rem Mag. It has a permently mounted muzzle brake to make it legal with a carbine stock, at 16 1/2" It is mounted with a Redfield 2x pistol scope in Weaver mounts, and the front sight ramp was remounted so Irons can still be used. I have had this conversion for two years, and have never fired it. Just lost intrest in the project. My doubles take up too much of my time. Keep us posted on your findings with this chambering, who knows it might light a fire in me yet!
