WVFred,

That is an extremely nice .500 Jeff. Out of curiosity, did Mr. Beck buy the spring loaded side clips for the magazine somewhere, or did he make them?

Also, is the follower flat or U-shaped in cross section?

Thanks for the details.

$6200 is a steal for a rifle like that.
I am on the hook for some CZ's in .505 and .404, which are trash by comparison to your masterpiece. bawling

RIP,
Thank you,I really thought you would be the one to buy it.I thought that before I even posted it.I think it's a very good deal for someone,Jack told me when I picked it up for him to duplicate the gun would be well over $10k.

Fred, this is tragic! And you did not even have a chance to shoot the rifle. Good luck with it.

500grains,
I just need a garage/work shop worse than I needed a 500.I couldn't justify buying dies at $300 to shoot a few rounds.

rather than sell it, you should just get the dies and justify the cost with a ele and buff hunt to take it on!

A trip to Africa in the near future is out of question.I have two 404's a 375h&h and two 9.3x62's in case I would happen to go,so I think I'm covered. thumbor maybe I could trade it for an elephant and buff hunt Big Grin

Fred that's a great deal and I'm sure you'll get a buyer. It would be me but for the one I just took delivery on, and the two new ones and the one rehab I have in the pipeline!
