Overkill- My offer still stands- You can shoot my NYATI till you hit your max tolerability to recoil. I'll bet it's far below the max velocity this thing will dish out. I've seen 2509 with 750's. That is enough for me.

Overkill

Some years ago a customer was working up loads for his fearly new 585 Nyati , and (I think)he was aiming to reach 2400Fps with 750gr Woodleigh.
Something went wrong however and as he shot his first round over the cronograph the thing came alive.
I know this story only by the cronograph operator standing next to my customer...he said the shooter was of the ground in the recoil and he shoot only one round that day. The picture of the cronograph showed a reading for 2592fps (with 750grain woodleigh)

Today I think around 2300fps are the going thing!

Do take notice though, that the 2592 fps round was a miss-happ on the reloadingbench...I think some buddy learned some thaing that day!
