Might be kinda hard to get the proper headstamped brass for it. To play it safe so you can have the proper length after fireforming, I'd suggest getting the belted basic brass. it seems as if one could just fire 458 Lott in the Ackley chamber and have fireformed brass. Head stamp, now that's a deal you'll have to call Marc Jamison about. Rich DRSS

A-Square loads .450 Ackley and I should imagine that the brass is correctly headstamped. Should be able to find out who supplies their brass. Superior just loaded up 40 rounds of .450 Ackley for me and the brass has no headstamp........ "Ignorance you can correct, you can't fix stupid." Your best is likely to get some Horandy belted basic brass and fire-form cases. __________________________________________________ The AR series of rounds, ridding the world of 7mm rem mags, one gun at a time.

Hornady basic is the easiest to get right now. As mentioned, A-square produces brass and loaded ammo. If you want to shoot loaded ammo the Lott will fireform into the Ackley when you shoot it in the Ackley chamber. You can also neck up 375 H&H brass and shoot that, it works although the finished case ends up just a little short. - dan "Intellectual truth is eternally one: moral or sentimental truth is a geographic and chronological accident that varies with the individual" R.F.
