AFter starting this project last fall, the smith just finished it. I started with a surplus Czech 98 Vz24. Smith cleaned up the action, added a Bold trigger and Winchester-style wing safety as well as an extended floor release. He mounted a PacNor stainless 1:14 twist barrel, finished at 25 inches, and dropped it into a B&C MEdalist stock with tan/spider web finish. Now to shoot it and see how she does.
