For smacking thin skin game: moose, black bear, elk, etc should I load a bit faster? They reccomend 2400 fps, is that going to give good expantion on thin skins? | |||

2400 will be just fine i used the 416 rigby for a bus load of deer probably 15-20 and a few hogs and it worked great. | |||

Get some flat nose solids from Fritz assuming you want to eat venison.
